Swimming

There are plenty of beaches to swim from but the most popular within easy reach would be Borth.  Water quality around Cardigan Bay is good.  There are also good swimming beaches south of Aberystwyth, along with many lakes and rivers.  Swimming is not permitted in the reservoirs.
