Penroc
has one twin bedroom and a double bedroom with an adjoining
balcony, allowing you to fully appreciate the beautiful view
across the valley. Downstairs there is one large room with
a well-equipped kitchen area along one wall, a large seating
area with double-glazed picture windows and a cosy living
area around an attractive gas stove. The cottage is cosy,
extremely comfortable and has been sympathetically
refurbished by an interior designer.
The re
is a TV, Sky FreeSat and DVD player with plenty of
prerecorded DVDs to enjoy. A selection of books, puzzles
and games are provided as well. The kitchen has all you
need for your stay. A three-drawer freezer means fewer
trips to the excellent Spa at Rhayader or Morrisons at
Aberystwyth. The Post Office at Devil's Bridge sells basic
essentials. Heating is night storage but the gas-burning
stove makes the cottage warm enough even in deep winter and
is lovely to sit around.
